Mostly about Tsukigumi
Do you guys remember my budding German fangirl friend, Hanna? I met up with her this evening and we talked about a few things.

* She's been chatting with someone in Romance Kakumei. I was like, "hey! I kind of know at least some people in Romance Kakumei!" Now I just want to know who it is. X3

* I was telling her about the signs that point toward Asako's retirement, and then about the signs leading up to Touko's retirement announcement. I think someone mentioned this before, but what say you all on the fact that Asa will still be appearing on 2009 calendars in November and December, when Elisabeth is ending in August?

* Tried to imagine who would play Elisabeth if not Kiriyan (get real), Shizuku (doesn't have the voice), Mirio (not old enough) or Ai-chan (not being pushed enough). The only other option seems to be a transfer, and for some reason Nacchan sprang to mind -- I mean, well, "for some reason" because she played the lead in the Yukigumi shinko. Thoughts, anyone? Likely / unlikely?

...Oh god. That Mimi girl. What if Hankyuu is promoting her because they're intending to move Nacchan out?! *brain whirs* *starts rumors*

* Didn't discuss this with Hanna, but was also thinking about the shinko for Tsukigumi. And the fact that Mirio seems like the "favorite son" in the troupe right now.

...Mirio!Death? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

(I think I already mentioned that my club is hoping for Toshi!Lucheni *_*)

I've been thinking all along that it's more likely she'll retire in December. Saudade and Elisabeth are pretty good signs of retirement, but, yeah, she's November and December in the calendars, plus I don't think Tsuki is scheduled for anything between Elisabeth and whatever their next daigekijou is, and new tops usually don't go straight into the daigekijou, right? (please correct me if I'm wrong on any of those points ^^: )

I must admit this is in part wishful thinking. I just don't want Elisabeth to be her sayonara show, for several reasons ^^;

Hey, no, you're right -- they can't install new tops after Elisabeth unless they break tradition. New tops always start with a small-theater show or a tour, not the Daigekijou...

Huh. Food for thought.

Er, y'all realize the new Hoshigumi top will be going straight to the daigekijou, right?

It's really better not to assume that things are "rules" just because we've noticed a pattern. ;)

I think that's because hoshigumi got caught in when they're switching up the schedule. Rika also got caught when they were playing with the schedule, and her first show was at the Tokyo Takarazuka theater.

But you're right, with the Daigekijou runs now changing to shorter, it make take a while to figure out a new "pattern."

Truer words were never spoken. ^^;;; On the one hand we rely on patterns to make predictions -- on the other hand, Hankyuu regularly throws us for a loop (or three). >.>

The previous pattern of a new top starting with a smaller theatre show isn't going to at all be accurate anymore necessarily because the 2009 schedule has been all shuffled around remember.

*looks cross* :P Unless that's a "get real" as to who else would play Elisabeth.

I think someone mentioned this before, but what say you all on the fact that Asa will still be appearing on 2009 calendars in November and December, when Elisabeth is ending in August?

I think Mihoko appeared on a calendar past her retirement. It probably just has to do with when the sienne tells the company about their retirement vs. when the calendar gets planned *shrug*

You seem to be confusing me with someone who actually hopes for / believes in the possibility of Kiriyan!Elisabeth! I never claimed to be one of those people. :P

Anyway, I'm glad so many people jumped into my journal to provide counter-evidence for things. ^^;;;

Hmm... I hadn't really thought about Nacchan transferring, I'm not sure I can see her in Tsuki. It would make sense though, since Yuki all ready has Mika and Mimi and Kaori and Ayucchi in the "younger-ish musumeyaku" group, so it's hardly like they'd be lost if she transferred.

...Kiriyan (get real),

LOL Kiriyan would be a great change of pace to play a Female role once more though this is heavily different from Adelaide from "Guys & Dolls" as Elisabeth is more of a complex role with challenging songs. Ai-chan would be a second choice IMO.

*chains Nacchan to Yukigumi*

That being done...
Hm.
Actually, I still hope for Kiriyan.
For Mirio, I doubt they would push her up to the lead musumeyaku role for one show. For Arisa or Ai-chan, they would be top musumeyaku already if they were really meant to play Elisabeth.
For transfer... why wait if Asako could have a new girl now already?
Well, Nacchan... if I compare her to the type of musumeyaku (+Asako) choosen for honkouen Elisabeth before, I doubt out of everyone Nacchan would be the first choice.
On voice and strong charisma, I could much rather see Mika playing Elisabeth in a honkoen than Nacchan.
I still kind of guess that Ai-chan will go to Hoshigumi with Yuuhi (and I will believe that until being proven wrong, means, somewhen in January most likely).

Of course it's also my strong hope that Nacchan will stay in Yukigumi for at least a little longer.
