Continuing the short posts
Four shows and a shimbokukai in three days. So tired.

Let's have some two-sentence reviews!

Chunichi Berubara = IS VERY ENTERTAINING. But mostly because I'm silently laughing at all the parts that are supposed to be Very Serious and Dramatic and Angsty.

Chunichi Dancing for You = IS AWESOME. Because my angel is nibante musumeyaku and shines everywhere :D (but at times the revue does feel like Soragumi at half-strength).

My Dear New Orleans = IS VERY UPSETTING. I started crying at the Touko x Asuka x Shii x Nene song and didn't stop crying for more than ten minutes throughout the rest of the show (this is not an exaggeration).

A bientot = does not get all-caps. It's We Love Paris x Sayonara Show, and I've decided someone must have forced Fujii-sensei at gunpoint to keep the crack out of this revue.

I may or may not get more reporting done tomorrow.

LOL~ Oh, Berubara ...

Yay Alice-chan as nibante musumeyaku!!

My Dear New Orleans = IS VERY UPSETTING.
;_______; Watching okeiko footage, I started getting teary. I'm sure I'd have been in the same state as you, watching it ;__;

I both *LOL* and sigh~

Hope you get some rest!

I'm suspecting that the revues are the more exciting parts of these new Berubara shows at least for us in the wrong country. It isn't that often that the smaller (sort of alternate) cast revues ends up on dvd.

My Dear New Orleans = IS VERY UPSETTING. Maybe I am in the right country after all.

Usually I don't spam with stuff like this, but Oh my god... I love your icon.

and Julie: yay, I'm glad you were entertained by Berubara... I'm like that with a lot of shows, laughing inappropriately ;) I'm a little disappointed that A Bientot doesn't sound more exciting, but maybe it's still one I'll like...

Toyoko's part isn't any bigger than what she's been getting recently. It's a decent part with plenty of lines, but not dynamic at all.

The revue is more focused on the people retiring, so again Toyoko just gets about as much as she usually does.

If "My Dear New Orleans" was that upsetting, I assume it was a well written show? Touko deserves that for her sayonara show <3 It's too bad about A Bientot, but I still believe there's no such thing as a completely bad revue.

I'm so glad you could find things to enjoy in your troupe's performance. ♥

I'm so jealous you got to see My Dear New Orleans!!! I am a hardcore hoshigumi fan and I've missed them dearly since leaving Japan last May when my 9 month study abroad ended.... may I ask, what is it that you're doing in Japan such that you get to go see Takarazuka all the time? Are you teaching English? If not, what do you do? And how close to the Takarazuka complex do you live???

I'm working at ECC, one of the big English conversation companies in Japan. I live in Osaka and my station is a 30-minute train ride from Takarazuka. :D

I also, er, save very little money and line up for toujitsuken at the wee hours of the mornings or brave scalpers sometimes to be able to see as much as I do. >.>;;;
