This and that
I'm back from the second Tokyo trip. I am not dead, although I certainly felt that way for parts of it.

Alice-chan ochakai was... rushed, but still a very precious memory.

"Masaka no Change!?" is in 2 hours.

Tsukigumi rehearsals started today. Mihou Aya and Amano Hotaru retiring. I'm... trying not to think about it; it's not good for my health to imagine Yurino being the second oldest musumeyaku in Tsukigumi. Almost as bad as Ichika set to become the oldest musumeyaku in Hanagumi. Urgh.

Karan-chan photos in the mail are at least somewhat happy-making.

Lunch with Jess, Cate and a couple of her friends was also nice, although in retrospect it may have looked like I was inviting myself along just to spread my germs and not make very good conversation. T_____T;;;

Tacking this onto the end -- Hanagumi shinko cast just went up. Minami Maito getting Makkun's role is ostensibly exciting, if I could work up the energy to be excited. In other 95th news Yuzuka Rei got Daimon's role, and Aiha Fubuki got Reikon's honkouen role.

Oh, and Miko-chan wasn't just out of Trafalgar on Saturday; she's still absent.

Real last thing: Gambatte, Tomomin.

*edits* Just remembered. The other other thing I was going to say, about 95ths -- that Manaki Reika, hey. Looks like Pimpernel wasn't just a fluke? She got a role name in Gypsy Baron when even *Tamaki* doesn't have one.

I really, really don't get what the company is trying to do anymore...

Mihou Aya is retiring?!! This is depressing and sad. She is my favourite upperclass musumeyaku T____T
Is it just me or are there really not many upperclassmen left in the company?

And it really looks like a girl's name to me. I've decided they're Amazon gypsies, because of all the musumeyaku with named roles, compared to otokoyaku. All the men will be the army lads that they'll have to kidnap and have their way with. :3

XDDDD!!!!!!!!

See, now you've gone and gotten my hopes up for Amazon gypsies ;P In any case I hope the show is fun :)

*edits* I should have said -- admittedly Chapi's role does sound like a girl's name; we'll see. But "all the musumeyaku with named roles, compared to otokoyaku" -- actually I counted and they're exactly equal. o_O;; Unusual for Takarazuka, I guess, which is why it seems like "all these musumeyaku".

The sales for Tomomin seem pretty good for the start of a small show lead by an underclassman, I think? About in line with other shows like that...

But I'm so sad about Mihou Aya and Amano Hotaru. :( Well, kind of Tsukigumi is, IMHO, the worst place in Takarazuka to be a musumeyaku, but it looks like this show is good for musumeyaku so...it'll be a good place for musumeyaku to show off and then go on to bigger and better things. Aside from being upperclassmen musumeyaku, they're incredibly talented uppperclassmen musumeyaku, and with all they've been able to do, if they want work after Zuka, they'll get it. If they feel they're done performing and want to rest, then I'm glad for them. And since they are douki leaving together, I'm glad they have each other's support.

And with all the musumeyaku roles, I am incredibly excited about The Gypsy Baron. :D

Thanks for the announcement. It's good to have a place to discuss it. *hug*
