Masami, Alice, Emperor, Valentino
Well, Masami completely failed to post about Eriko's wedding, lol, but she made up for it with this picture ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I keep giggling because you've got these four 85ths all bunched together nicely, and then there's Alice-chan sticking her head in being all, "can I be in this picture? :D" Oh, angel ♥ ♥ ♥

Said angel did eventually post about Kisha to Koutei, but it's the same things she always says: the upperclassmen were wonderful, the underclassmen tried really hard, everyone is cool and has lots of individuality, she loved the finale, etc. Like everyone else, she says it brought back memories of Never Sleep.

Oh, and "it's been a long time since I've seen such a fun, lighthearted comedy" :) ♥

...I was going to post a bunch of tidbits I've heard about this show and Valentino, but I'm suddenly really tired. I've already put some things I've read on the Wiki. Time for rhetorical questions instead!

1) Has anyone else heard about Romeo & Juliette at Akasaka in September? The site says there's open auditions for people from TBS / Toho / Horipro / etc. I hope for at least a few OGs in it :)

2) Did anyone else know that Umegei has a Twitter account, and SORAGUMISEI POSTED ABOUT VALENTINO ON IT!?!?!?!?!!

Ah reading this made my day. Now I can just sit and pray/wish for a DVD release for Journalist and Second Life...

Didn't know at all, can't read Japanese. If lines of communication are opening up though, I think that's really neat of them to use social networking tools like Twitter to get the word out. It's a blessing and a curse really, but it's one way to get free advertisement. I wonder if Hankyu has its own Twitter account or whether they will consider using it in the future for Takarazuka...?

I don't think either of those shows will come out on DVD unless Micchan becomes top :\

And it is really cool that Umeda Theater has a Twitter account, but I don't think Hankyu will catch the wave. They're soooo old-fashioned x__x

I know *cries*. But I have high hopes for the Japanese fans...if they're beginning to gravitate toward that, then maybe, just maybe it'll nudge Hankyu. You lived amongst them for a few years, what is their perspective on digital technology and social networking on Takarazuka? Only asking cause I'm curious, not prying you for information.

I may be pessimistic, but I don't have much hope for Hankyu really catching on to social networking any time soon. They're obsessed with keeping the 'siennes locked down, so too speak... And they didn't handle the TMS bullying / "secret" blog situation well at all >__<

As for the fans, well, it IS Japan, obviously they're surrounded by technology. They all use Mixi instead of Facebook, and largely Ameblo for blogging... But just like the company, they're hesitant to publish a lot of detailed information publicly. Most Japanese people are still pretty protective of their (and others') privacy.
