Oguri! Roles
I romanized the 'Oguri!' role names. I think most of them should be okay, but since 主人 can mean a myriad of things I'm not sure about Mame's character. Actually not completely confident about the demons, either. But I think I'm safe with such creative names as Tarou, Jirou and Saburou. :P

Not that any musumeyaku seems to have gotten off well in this show, but I'm pouting that Amachaki didn't get a role name. :(

There are demons in this show? Sounds interesting...

P.S. In some ways non-Grand Theater shows are easier. There's nothing more frustrating than the official summary coming out, realizing that none of the romanizations they chose actually made sense, and having to redo everything. I think there are *still* broken links from Reimei :/

Well...this one would be challenging unless you are familiar with the original story or any of the Kabuki versions (then I'm highly amused at "Chief Councilor of State" "High Steward" and "Demon King", etc. :D).

I'll post corrections here later.

I'm obviously not familiar with it. :) But feel free to edit the Wiki page directly -- I'm sure you could help out with past shows too, if you were so inclined.

I have put down corrections and explanatory notes to the right of →
I would appreciate that you take a look as I'm not familiar with the rules and styles you apply to Takawiki's role name romanization (plus I'm too lazy to create a Takawiki account) :)

Hitachi Oguri → Oguri Hangan
*the role name has been changed from 常陸小栗 to 小栗判官
Yokoyama / Great King Yama → Yokoyama (Governor of Musashi & Sagami, father of Taro, Jiro, Saburo & Terute) / Great King Yama (Ruler of Buddhist Hades)
Chief Councilor of State → Dainagon (Major Counselor of Nijou, father of Oguri)
Wife of the Chief Councilor → Wife of Dainagon (mother of Oguri)
Gotou Saemon → Gotou Saemon (travelling merchant)
Proprietor → Proprietor of the brothel
Old Woman → Old Woman (wife of the head fisherman)
High Steward → Head fisherman
*鬼王 and 鬼次 are the given names of the brothers who serve Yokoyama (and they are good-natured!)
Demon King → Oniou (servant of Yokoyama)
Second Demon → Onitsugu (servant of Yokoyama, younger brother of Oniou)

Amachaki may get to do the beautiful serpentine seductress with whom Oguri gets involved.
The Oguri story takes a lot of villainous roles - I especially have high hopes for Mame & Juria.
