Mostly about Je Chante
Ugh. Hello again, LiveJournal. This is my official "I'm back", aka I have my own computer working again instead of using someone else's.

It's not easy for me to come back. I don't know if my entries are actually going to be the same again. As you all might have noticed, I was teetering on the brink of becoming a very pessimistic and unbearable person. I seriously don't know why people keep friending me, even now.

I'm going to try to recover to some degree, at least, which is made easier by Alice Club forms...

Aka, "Je Chante" forms. :)

This, more than any other show before, is the one I must throw as much money into as I can and still be somewhat financially responsible. The plan is to cut back on Grand Theater-ing, perhaps even Soragumi shows, but first I have to see "Je Chante" is many times as humanly possible.

Which, right now, is looking like eight.

It would be more if it weren't for "Shangri-La". It's still Soragumi, I have to see it at least once, and I thought I could see it twice but scheduling conflicts are being a right pain.

The facts are these (feel free to skip the whining):

I'm going to be out of the country for a family event from about March 9th - 15th. Aka exactly the first week of "Shangri-La".

After which "Je Chante" starts on Thursday the 18th, and I have to work so the first time I can see Alice-chan live in Bow (FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER) is Friday the 19th.

Eliminating 2 of my 4 chances to see "Shangri-La". :( The other two being raku and the morning show before raku. And since ALICE-CHAN OCHAKAI IS THAT NIGHT, I have little hope of even seeing raku. Meaning the 11AM show is my ONLY shot.

And yet seeing "Shangri-La" at 11AM on the 21st forces me to miss Alice Club souken.

THIS WOULD ALL BE MUCH EASIER IF MY FAMILY HAD CONSULTED ME ABOUT SCHEDULING ;______________; /whiny brat

IN CONCLUSION here are my dates:

March 19th (Fri) 2:30PM
21st (Sun) OCHAKAI 6:20PM reception, 7:00PM start
22nd (Mon) 11:00AM
22nd (Mon) 2:30PM
25th (Thu) 11:00AM
26th (Fri) 2:30PM
28th (Sun) 11:00AM
28th (Sun) 2:30PM
29th (Mon) 11:00AM

If you're going to be in town and would like to go with me to any of these shows, and/or the ochakai, I need to know by about February 15th.

As an aside, it looks like I'll be writing to Ayane-chan to get forms for her last Grand Theater ochakai as well, so if anyone's up for that (it's on April 3rd)... let me know.

Wear for all clubs in "Je Chante" seems to be a long-sleeved denim shirt. Thanks, Kacha Family. ;P

o.O;; 8 times is a lot of times to see 1 show....

It might be the last time I see Alice-chan in a lead role, ever. *shrugs* And Bow Hall tickets are cheaper than most of the seats I saw Casablanca from... 9 times.

:( Is she retiring or you just don't think she'll get more lead roles?
Julie: alice windowwao_wao on January 27th, 2010 03:24 am (UTC)
She isn't retiring yet, but things after "Je Chante" don't look promising. See: my constant complaining about all top musumeyaku being underclassmen to her.

Well I hope she doesn't retire, because I know you love her muchly.

How much longer are you going to be online? Can I show you the pretty dollie I'm getting via Skype?

If you're going to throw all of your money into one show, at least Bow Halls are cheaper <3

For March you could do a lot worse ;)

Sure, I just object on a basic level to a musumeyaku club being forced into wear that makes us look like blue-collar workers. ;P

Awesome! I hope the show is great.

oh you are SO lucky you get to see these shows at least once. i envy you :)

i can see why you've been "teetering on the brink of becoming a very pessimistic and unbearable person." heck, i'm a new fan and all of this is making me irritated and anxious. i can't imagine what it's like for fans who have invested more time, money, etc. into zuka.

but i can definitely see alice-chan as a top musumeyaku so hopefully she sticks around til then.

I'm not encouraging destructive thoughts of any kind (too many good reasons to be upset lately, but I just don't want to be any sadder than the whole World wants me to be), so I'm not even commenting on the "I was teetering on the brink of becoming a very pessimistic and unbearable person." bit. Btw, if it can cheer you up, just think I'm optimistic but unbearable all the same :D

Alas, that *insert four letter word* of my Boss didn't give me enough days off, so I can't make it to Osaka or Takarazuka when I fly in for Dietrich. Our coffee has to be postponed. But I promise next time I come I'll bring ingredients and cook you some good Italian recipe to make up.

Aw, that's too bad!! I was looking forward to meeting you; I always like adding names to the list of LJ friends whom I've met in Japan. ;)

I hope you enjoy Dietrich in Tokyo though!! ^^
