Trafalgar Shinko Report
I... I'm really at a loss on where to begin.

I've never seen a shinko where it hit me so strongly that the company is pushing the wrong girls.

I can't bear any ill will toward Riku, because she made a huge slip-up and apologized and cried during her speech and Monchi cried too because she loves and cares about her classmate. That's enough for me to forgive Riku her failings.

But the fact remains that it should've been someone else in the lead role.

I'll always argue that BonBon should get a lead. Technically she has one more chance after this, but I can't really maintain much hope. :\

I know that BonBon is short and, you know, actually has meat on her bones which apparently makes her "not star material", but... SHE CAN DO EVERYTHING. She has a stage presence that puts her juniors to shame. Her acting is so solid and her singing is so good. Although not evident from this shinko, she's also a great dancer. I said a year ago that she was practically too good to be in shinkos. It's even truer now.

Really, it should've been someone else for both of the leads. BonBon and Eri-chan really showed up Riku and Re-re in the lovers' quartet, and I thought, things could've been so different. :(

It wasn't even just the two leads, to be completely honest. I was so, so impressed by the older shinko girls doing the background upperclassmen parts and ROCKING them. And I know that those parts are important too and it's good to give them to experienced babies, but at the same time... Ngh. It seemed so unbalanced, and so sad how I was still rooting for the girls in the back and forgetting to watch the leads even in a SHINKO.

So here's the rundown of what happened, as far as mistakes.

At the end of the scene with the card game, William slaps Emma and she runs away crying. Horatio follows her onto the balcony. This balcony is represented by the large center lift being raised, with staircases pushed onto the sides. I never really paid attention to the fact that the set piece connecting the staircase and the balcony isn't very wide...

...Until Riku misjudged it in the dark and fell flat on her face T_____________T

It was kind of a bad fall, like it took her a second to get up. Re-re had to stand there still waiting for Horatio and pretend not to notice. Riku pulled herself up and had kind of a bitter look on her face, but once they got into their lines she recovered quickly. Alice-chan thinks she was so full of drive to get through the shinko that she wouldn't have even noticed if there was any pain. Hopefully it's nothing bad, just bruising, but she'll probably start to feel it tonight. :(

The other big mistake was that in the final "Emma is reunited with Horatio once more in her dreams" dance, a strand from Re-re's wig got caught in something on Riku's cuff and they couldn't do the dance properly and it was really awkward. T_______T So sad, because if there's one thing they can both do it's dance fairly well -- as I saw in the rest of the balcony scene -- but the ending was kind of a failure. :\

Critiquing the babies:

Sorahane Riku (Horatio Nelson): She's a little better than average at acting, I suppose. I liked some of her reactions to things. But her singing is still... not great. :\ She really got showed up by some of the others, I think, in singing as well as overall presence. But I liked the bit with Josiah? I always like Josiah ♥ And her stage kisses with Re-re were good.

And even if I'm still not really wowed by her, I have to respect her tenacity in recovering from that fall.

Sumireno Rei (Emma Hamilton): Um, can I just repeat what I said about Riku? T_____T;;;

I was reminded of how her lack of singing talent and youthful acting kind of ruined Chii-chan's "Junjou" for me... And that was two years ago. :\ I would've liked to have seen that she'd improved more in that time.

Forcing your voice into a high range like that is hard, I know, but it's what ALL musumeyaku have to do. That's what all musumeyaku without natural talent have to work on, and Alice-chan was pretty frank as well that Re-re still needs to practice a lot.

So she squeaked and cracked and broke all the way through the shinko, definitely the weakest singer of those who had solos. Her reading of Emma... I liked it better sometimes, I got really close to feeling bad for Emma and Horatio's tragic love story, but... not quite all the way there. :\ Her voice was really distracting, even if her expressions were good sometimes.

Aizuki Hikaru (Napoleon Bonaparte): Ai-ai gave it her all, even if this role didn't offer a lot to go on. The requirements for Napoleon are mostly to be cool and full of ambition, and she definitely had those things. Her singing was better than Riku's but not like "whoa". I believe she can get to "whoa" if she really works on it, though. :)

And hey, if Napoleon is mainly supposed to be cool then she did that AMAZINGLY well. The fire of ambition was definitely there. She was solid. And Alice-chan is proud of her ♥ ♥ ♥

Houju Ichi (William Hamilton): Is good at everything, as I said before. Her acting is all the way there as far as believability -- so cold and soulless, but in a different way from Micchan. I especially got it in the part where William slaps Emma and she runs away... William has this one moment to show that he has a heart, when he stands there staring at the hand that just slapped his wife. Micchan always has this look of genuine remorse, like maybe her William actually cares a little. BonBon was showing more regret for doing such a thing in public, making all of them look bad -- AND there was possessiveness at the same time. "I may have done a bad thing, but damn it that girl is mine."

BonBon ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Even at the end, I think what her William regretted was not that Horatio had died, but that he (William) had still lost to Horatio and would never possess Emma's heart.

PLUS she was SHINKO KUMICHOU and gave a really together speech and I was so proud ♥ ♥ ♥

Let's see, who should I talk about next... Maybe the cast list order is easiest?

Kotoha Sakurako (Josephine Bonaparte): Can sing! And dance! And is so pretty! When she and Ai-ai sang in French, they blended together pretty well :D

Kazahane Reia (Admiral Hood): Went without facial hair and STILL made a convincing older man. Even though I hate that crack Hood makes about Fanny, Sattsun delivered the line well. Solid, she was just solid like an upperclassman should be.

Mikage Rin (Maria Carolina, Queen of Naples): And if THIS one isn't a great upperclassman in the making, I don't know who is. (Or I do, okay, but to use a turn of phrase...) Yeah. Her wig was different from Ayumi-san's, but I felt her Maria Carolina almost as strongly. It was awesome hearing her dialogue with Horatio and Emma like it was the first time all over again, and the meaning you could feel behind her words.

Chisuzu Mayu (Lady Cadogan): AMAZING. MAYU-CHAN, WHEN DID YOU GROW UP AND BECOME SO AMAZING. I never would have guessed that the child-like and semi-squeaky girl I nevertheless fell in love with in "Understudy" would become this damn decent singer, and be super convincing playing a mother. So commanding grabbing the arms of girls like a foot taller than her XDD

MAYU-CHAN, SO PROUD ;_______; ♥ ♥ ♥

Tenrei Mion (King Ferdinand, King of Naples): ASDFGHJKLASDFKJL TEN-CHAAAAAANNNNNNNNN ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

... *coughs* Um. So I never really got this from TamaTama, but Ten-chan really played it as one of those spoiled child-like kings who doesn't want to get his hands dirty doing political things at all. She did her lines in this laaaaazy yawning voice ♥ And, okay, I have watched TamaTama playing stupidly with the chess pieces once or twice, but Ten-chan was also entertaining ♥ ♥

AND I WAS RIGHT, SHE GOT THE OPERA PART. AMAZING, JUST AMAZING. GIRL CAN SING, but we all knew that :D

AND while she's a French soldier in the honkouen, I got BRITISH NAVY TEN-CHAN in shinko!!! ^________^ It was like a dream, that blonde hair and those cheekbones and that uniform ♥ ♥ ♥

Sumiki Sayato (Thomas Hardy): SO GOOD. AKKII, SO GOOD. It burns so bad that she got just far enough on the star track to get decent roles in honkouen and shinkos, but has long since been one-upped by underclassmen. :\ Because she seriously showed up Riku in the final "Victory" song on the ship. Riku was like "Vi~ictory, lalala I am a half-hearted singer" and then Akkii got her solo and it was all "VI~ICTORY I WILL BLOW YOU OUT OF THE WATER" (lol I made a pun).

And the way her eyes sparkled when she talked about "protecting my king and my loved ones" ♥

AND she did do dancing antics! WITH EBI-CHAN! Akkii isn't crazy tall like Tomochin, granted, but they gave her one of our shortest shorties for a partner ♥ And they were all awkward and cute X3

AND SHE FOUND THE CUP XDDDD It bounced really far when Riku threw it, and I was afraid Akkii might have to search a bit, but she got it just fine 8D

...Longest paragraph so far is about Akkii, what. LOVE HER.

Tsukie Juma (Sir John Jarvis): SOLID, SOLID WORK THERE JUMA-CHU. She didn't do the chin-stripe like Tomoe :( And I missed the hair toss accompanying the snarky line about Horatio's afair (if Juma even did it, I don't know). But seriously, she was just there in the background with this PRESENCE all the time. JUMA IS GOOD AT ACTING AND STUFFS.

Okay, speaking of, I have to go slightly out of order because

Amaki Tonika (Prince William Henry): PRETTY MUCH BLEW ME AWAY. WHERE did that tiny thing get so much acting presence?! She took the role of the commanding ruler and RAN with it. I 100% believed that she had the power to plan battles and maneuver armies. And her singing has always been good ^___^ ♥ Tonicaaaaa why don't they give you more ;______;

Koumi Maito (Edmund Nelson): SO GOOD, SO, SO GOOD. Her old man voice / line delivery was different than Chiya-neesan's, which is a good thing. I even got a different feeling at the end when Edmund is singing to himself... Chiya-nee's characterization is, like, really doddering old man, but with Koumai I got an Edmund right on the edge of grasping the fact that his son is dead, and THEN he reverts back into "I know he's coming home, let's go back to Norfolk!" Brilliant, Koumai, I applaud you ♥ ♥ ♥

Kanon Mai (Pauline): Nasty Sister #1. I think I liked Aiko-chan a little better, and obviously Ecchan a LOT better, but it wasn't bad. Keep working on being even more wicked, Kyanon-chan ♥

(Going out of order again)

Hanasato Mana (Caroline): Nasty Sister #2. With Aiko-chan, I really liked the back-and-forth where at first she's like "Pauline, don't say such things" and then later is all back-biting about "our brother's bad habits" (and Kyanon-chan ad-libbed something like "See! You say mean things too!" as they went offstage). I don't know, her snarkiness worked a little better for whatever reason.

As long as I'm going out of order...

Fuuma Kakeru (Lucien): Um, she was there. ^_^;; Just like Mii-chan is kind of "there". ^^;; But her singing bit was fine, and she smirked and said "oui!" etc. When not playing Lucien she showed up as an English townsperson just as Mii-chan does, only she was one of the ones with a singing part too! ^^ And I feel like she's the one who got Ouka's white uniform with all the gold, in the Palermo scene...

Fujisaki Eri (Fanny Nelson): Ah... this is hard. Right off the bat I felt how different her Fanny was from Alice-chan's. Eri-chan's Fanny had cleverness and wit but knew how to keep the bite out of her words a little better.

Which only made me respect Alice-chan all the more for making her Fanny so spiteful and unlikeable, so that the audience can root for Horatio and Emma like they're supposed to. (This was kind of an epiphany moment and I may have cried a bit.)

But Eri-chan's portrayal of Fanny wasn't wrong. She was definitely a strong little woman and felt like a mother with Josiah. And when Horatio leaves the table and runs after Emma, Eri-chan's face broke my heart just like Alice-chan's does. (Actually BonBon's offended look was amazing too there.)

Plus like I said, her singing ♥ ♥ ♥ I mean, maybe character-wise Eri-chan was right for Fanny, and Re-re for Emma. But I'm still a bit :S

(Second-longest paragraph so far = Eri-chan! But naturally that's because I have so much comparing to do.)

Speaking of those Nelsons...

Nanao Maki (Josiah): Yes, she did it. She was like a 15-year-old Josiah, a bit, instead of an 18-year-old, but anyway ^_^;;; She still cleared the "can she make this scene just as touching" test for me ♥ (Actually, Riku hugging her was sweet too ♥) Even before that, when Josiah says "you should cut ties with that philandering jerk" to his mother -- I liked her emotion. Keep working hard, Marina-chan!

Hoshizuki Rio (Albert Perry): She was there. She had Berubara-ish hair. She did her lines. But I didn't get anything special from her?

Haruse Ouki (Julian Castillo): And this one... Mostly what I got from Kanako is "her voice is high"? But her one singing line was good. I might have enjoyed watching her dance in the background / advise the King of Naples at chess / etc, but I was watching too many other people x__x People like...

Hoshibuki Ayato (Aurelie Byron): MONCHIIIIIIIIII okay. Okay, I've finally come to terms with the fact that Monchi was not meant for stardom, she was meant to be a character actress and a loveable dork offstage. But her Aurelie! I really felt the desperation in that first speaking part, when he's begging Napoleon to let him work for him.

Then she had to go and be over-the-top with the sharp-shooting (she killed Rumi Jun, lol) -- really everything involving guns was a bit over-the-top -- but I loooooove heeeerrrrr and her death scene and subsequent jump onto the mat behind the stairs, oh how I giggled and loved ♥ ♥ ♥

ACTUALLY Monchi was EVERYWHERE. She sang the "Napoli, Napoli" song WITH ARISA-CHAN ♥ ♥ DOUKI COMBI FOREVER ♥ ♥ ♥ It was so good seriously I am not being biased, they blended and it was like MAGIC ☆ ☆

Then later in the next Naples scene she was a revolting townsperson sdgfjkl Monchi doing angry peasant dances ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh and then she was a Danish soldier just like she is in honkouen, lol XDDD

Btw since I didn't mention, her Aurelie hair was slicked at the top like Chii-chan's but then even MORE curly at the bottom and didn't really suit her but I loved it for the lols ♥ ♥ ♥

...Third longest paragraph = Monchi, this surprises no one! ^_____^;;

I skipped Chisa-chan, by the way, and it sucks because she's leaving but still all she gets is saying "yes ma'am" and pushing Koumai around in the wheelchair T_____T;;;

Sakuragi Minato (Tom Allen): There were times when I was like NOT AS GOOD AS KACHA X(, and other times when I was like Zun-chaaaannnn ♥ ♥ ♥ She remembered that Horatio's teacup was hot at least once, but not every time. Still, her Tom Allen had this... spirit that was perhaps even closer to the surface than Kacha's (which is buried under all the "dumb" ;) She had a brightness -- a youthful vigor -- a sparkle in her eyes that just makes me want to go THIS ONE, PUSH THIS ONE. And her singing was fine.

But her lower-class speaking came off a bit amateurish (I mean she's barely ken-2, lol)... And when she ran out after Riku threw the cup, she half-checked the desk and had to scoot around the tea trolley too, it was kind of awkward XDD;;;

...Oh god I am seriously running out of steam x____x

Momochi Ito (Giuseppina): Sang well. Spoke Italian well. I'm kind of inclined to like her better on principle. Her wig was really frizzy, though. ^^;;;

Maika Kurumi (Theresa): I watched a bit of her dancing, but mostly what I remember of her was KURUMIN IN UNIFORM. CHII-CHAN'S uniform, in fact, or one that looks very much like it. In Napoli. I really had to stifle my giggles. X3 You were an otokoyaku once, Kurumin-chan, but you are just TOO CUTE now!!! My program says she was also a Danish soldier XDDD But in the end, she made a really pretty wave dancer too ♥

Mitsuki Haruka (Barras): Mmm, she had blond hair like BonBon and that outfit and it was kind of hot X3 Her singing was fine, presence was fine... Well, right up until the end when the soldiers take her away and she's like "you won't last long either--!" It was kind of girly. ^^;;

Mitsuki also played cards ♥ And was a revolting peasant, says my program, before becoming a British officer ;D ♥

Mirei Jun (Sieyès): Faaaaaiiiil. :P I mean it wasn't terrible, but she was so NOT "I kill you with my eyes" Ten-chan. She had different hair, too -- a dark, frizzy wig. That doesn't really matter. But she sang her lines straight instead of all "garbling my words in a frenzied passion!" Ten-chan. And that was the only time I watched her, so ^^;;

Amakaze Ibuki (Fouché): I'm sure she was good, but I just couldn't watch everyone ;____; I know she got one of the "Welcome Home Nelson" solos though?

Matsukaze Akira (Talleyrand): Was also good. Not as good as Sattsun to me but like, good enough that I can recognize her acting ability. Someday, Mappuu, someday they may give you more to do. ^_^;; She got a "Welcome Home" solo too.

Yumeri Miko (Sonia): Umm she was sweet but mostly what stood out to me about Miko was her AMAZING turn as a man in the English navy. She was STRIKING. Not in an "otokoyaku" way, but like... in an "Oscar" way? ^^;;; Miko-chan, I knew you would get to me eventually.

(Arisa-chan and Riho-chan as naval officers were just hysterical though, SO tiny and cute and unconvincing ;)

Ayase Akina (Gisela): Oh, pretty and tiny thing ♥ When not being a maidservant in pretty dresses, she was also an aristocrat dancing with Akkii as I mentioned... And then turned right around and became a French Directory dude which was hilariously cute... Then back to being Gisela... Then a customer in a restaurant... Then in the end, a very pretty wave dancer ♥

Aishiro Moa (Maria Henrietta): She was there. I was like "oh hey it's Moa-chan! Doing something!" And then I looked away again, so missed if she accosted Akkii or anything. :\

Yumesuzu Rian (Horatia): She did something really cute pretending to pick a dandelion and blow it or something. And portrayed a REALLY young and bright-eyed child. (I guess Horatia isn't supposed to be that old, really...) But there was a little bit of "Not Re-re". She doesn't have... whatever Re-re has, that 品 that I can't explain at 1:00AM.

I would seriously end it there if I didn't HAVE to talk about Shiori-chan and Kaji-chan.

Ayaka Mari: She got the "revolting townsperson" solo that Ririko does in the honkouen. Omg, she stepped into the middle and it was like BIZZAM. Force. Energy. Presence. Something, whatever it was, just took hold of me and wouldn't let go.

But then there was that part of me that really wanted to see more of her in otokoyaku roles like the French Directory member / Danish soldier / French soldier etc. I just can't forget what an amazing boy she was in Shangri-La. ^_^;;;

Mamiya Ryouko: WAS EVERYWHERE I WAS SO HAPPY. One of Emma's maids, and then a lady in Naples, and then a French Directory dude (IN KAI-CHAN'S COSTUME LOL AMAZING), then a revolting peasant (says my program but I think I missed that one on account of Shiori :X), then a lady in Palermo (SHE DEALT OUT THE CARDS!!!), then a dancer in Milan, then a Danish soldier, then Emma's maid again, then a British navy guy, then a wave dancer!

SO MANY QUICK CHANGES I swear it is at this point where I have to write and tell her I love her.

Oh god it is after 1:00AM now. Um, the shinko version of the "opening credits" screen sequence was sooooo funny, although actually even on film Ai-ai and BonBon's presence came through better than Re-re's and Riku's.

Also, they did have a painting of Re-re!Emma for her first scene, but I didn't get the chance to examine it closely.

...I've been writing for over three hours, possibly four. Time to go to bed now, if I forgot anyone then too bad. x___x

*edits* Okay, I didn't actually watch shinko demachi after doing crazy fast Alice-chan de, but I at least checked and saw that Riku and Ai-ai both had great turnouts, like over 40 people each.

...Until Riku misjudged it in the dark and fell flat on her face

Awwww..... :(

But also, MAYU-CHAN!!! ^_^
Ever since I first saw her I kinda glomped onto her with all my love. ♥
I'm glad you think she was amazing. :)
Also, I really like Kotoha Sakurako... she's awesome too. Actually, there are too many awesome people in sora, I'm realising. I don't even have enough time to think of all the awesomeness that there is. Haha oh well. XD

Mayu-chaaannnn ♥ ♥ ♥ What was it that you saw her in and liked so much? :) And Sakurako! ♥

Actually, there are too many awesome people in sora, I'm realising. I don't even have enough time to think of all the awesomeness that there is.

Always a problem if you don't devote yourself to one troupe! ^_^;;;

Julie, I love how you can say so much about every single baby ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Poor Riku. But even if the wrong girls got the big parts in this show, it sounds like the right girls really did well ♥
Julie: alice reimei generalwao_wao on June 9th, 2010 02:05 am (UTC)
*salutes* I have done my duty, eh heh heh (that will never get old).

But now I feel bad for not having written this much character analysis for the *honkouen* yet... ^^;;;
Ms. Britt: [eri-chan2]ladybretagne on June 8th, 2010 05:36 pm (UTC)
Gah, poor Riku. It's never fun to see that happen, even if it's not someone I'm necessarily particularly fond of.

Would comment more, but I'm at work so I'll just say that I almost respect Alice-chan and Eri-chan both all that much more for being able to find two rather different takes on the same character. And oh my little Eri-chan, how you've grown up. I still kind of can't believe it, even after Casablanca. <33333
Julie: eri-chan shinko ilsawao_wao on June 9th, 2010 02:07 am (UTC)
I know, it's a bit hard for me to believe too... But Eri-chan ♥ ♥ ♥
Ms. Britt: [eri-chan2]ladybretagne on June 9th, 2010 02:23 am (UTC)
I still kind of forget some days that she's not the little tiny thing she was in Understudy. I think it's the same reason my fifteen year old brother is kind of always about seven years old in my head.

Oh no, poor Riku!! ;___;
I know she's not the most talented, but it really makes me sad that she did so bad on her first shinko lead. :/ I thought maybe she would have made some kind of unexpected jump and have gotten really good. Somehow I hope they will now stop pushing her so hard, it seems like she can't deal well with all the stress/pressure. :/
Julie: kacha bernard glarewao_wao on June 9th, 2010 02:13 am (UTC)
Yeah... I would have been happier if she had made a big amazing jump, but T____T;;; I don't even know if it was just the pressure... I just feel that she wasn't ready in a lot of ways...
tsuki_in_sora on June 9th, 2010 01:34 am (UTC)
Thanks for the report! Even though it wasn't exactly all smiley for me ^^;;
Now prepare for a LOOOONG comment . . .

Awww, Riku *hugs* All I can say is . . . no rain, no rainbow. She'll learn from her pain and mistakes and get better, I'm sure. Like, both Yuuhi and Kacha made painful mistakes in their shinkos, but they learned from them and got better. And look at how mature and professional they are in their stage presence now :) So I'm not giving up on Riku just yet.
Oh yeah, and hope she didn't hurt herself too much. Face bruises hurt like crazy T_T

Mm, it's true Re-re isn't a singer, but I'd always had the opinion that she's a bit better than her twin ^^;; but it's probably just me.

I agree with you about Bonbon, I saw her shinko Renault on SkyStage as well as her opinions on the character, and I think she's a very insightful performer, definitely a sienne I'd like to see more of (and she has such a cute smile). I don't have anything against Riku but I'd love to see more of Bonbon too.

Glad to hear that Ai-chan was good though *bounce*

YAY for Eri-chan's Fanny!!! <333 and Ten-chan's singing <333 And thanks for throwing light on the "glass" scene! XDDDD Akkii <3

MONCHIIIIII <333 (she really impressed me with her voice in Casablanca, really. Hope I get to see more of her :D) And so sweet of her for crying for her douki! ;3;

And SHII-CHAN AND KAJI-CHAN. YEEEES. <333333333333

Final comment: Good luck in Tokyo, everyone!!! <33333333333333
Julie: monchi peter yaywao_wao on June 9th, 2010 02:02 am (UTC)
It's not that "this is the end" and Riku has forever ruined her chances to impress me. It's not that. It's... just like Tamaki Ryou, I don't understand why Riku had to have a shinko lead NOW instead of in a year or two when she was more ready. It's been bothering me more and more...

...Still, I hope she's okay :( ♥

As far as Re-re, wow, I totally think the opposite o_O;;; It was always my impression that Ran-chan matured faster -- partly because the situation in Tsukigumi gave her more opportunities to grow. But also, as I recall Ran-chan's grades were much higher than Re-re's when they graduated from the music school? I hate to say it, I do like Re-re but I think Ran-chan has worked harder. :\

BonBon is ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ And Ai-ai is ♥ ♥ ♥ too ^___^

And Eri-chan, Ten-chan and Monchi's singing!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ As well as everything else!! ♥ ♥ ♥ (I will "get to see more" of Monchi, as I'm going to her ochanomikai this Sunday >:D ♥)

Anyway, I've never been more relieved that they air the *Tokyo* shinko on Sky Stage now >.>;;;

I think. as you said in a comment, we got the twin who works harder.

I... I have no idea why you would, but it touches me very deeply that you read all of this. I think I need more hearts for you, hold on a moment *rummages around in heart box*

Ah, here they are ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And some for Ran-chan ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Ooh, thank you. >wraps each heart in scented pink tissue paper and tucks it away carefully< ... Actually, do you mind if I donate my extra hearts to Ran-chan too? I keep thinking how much she must need them.

And, just so you know, although I may sometimes save your posts for later, I very rarely just skim them. I'm always amazed by how deeply you know your troupe and how you notice and care about even the youngest and most obscure members of it. It's enjoyable to read about you finding joy in Soragumi even if they are pushing the wrong girls. ... And if you say that, then I believe it, because you would know. How many people can have studied Soragumi with the same intensity and the same will to believe in and find the best in each member as you have during the past few years? Not many.

Stop, stop, I'm blushing T______T ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I... It's kind of my dream to write to everyone in Soragumi before August, but if I really wanted to do that I should've started before now... But ah, every time I watch the show there's this storm of letters waiting to be written that runs through my brain...

Sigh. It's not easy, and sometimes I wonder if it's right, loving one troupe so much like this. But again, you're terribly kind. I feel very humbled tonight ♥

I hope you know that I very rarely skim your entries either, even if I'm terrible at commenting.

As for Ran-chan... I search the internet almost every day hoping to catch wind of shuugoubi, and an ochakai date. I fervently hope I'll be able to give Ran-chan hearts in person.

Sigh. It's not easy, and sometimes I wonder if it's right, loving one troupe so much like this.

I don't know any more how or to what extent it's a good idea to love Takarazuka. I just don't know how, once we've started, we can possibly expect to stop... But that's too much for a comment.

As for Ran-chan... I search the internet almost every day hoping to catch wind of shuugoubi, and an ochakai date. I fervently hope I'll be able to give Ran-chan hearts in person.

... Now you've started me thinking about Goods. Oh, dear.

I have so many things to say, but all of them, in essence, boil to that I agree with every word you said about BonBon. I wanted her to have the lead so badly even just purely because she's my favorite Sorasei, but there are so many reasons beyond that that she needs to play a lead and reading this has just given me so many reasons more to love her. I really really don't talk about her enough, despite her being one of my favorite people in all of Takarazuka.

I have hope for her maybe getting the lead in her last shinko. Jesus, I can't believe it'll be her last and that she was shinko kumichou O_O People I like have interesting shinko track records.... Cecil didn't get hers until her last one, and hell, Komu never had one at all, so I have faith and am hoping. Keepin' my fingers crossed and all that jazz. *goes off to write another letter to Bonbon*
