The Latest Few Alice Blogs
A couple of days ago Alice-chan was being all cute about preparing for the first guest to come to her new apartment.

That guest turned out to be (Mahiro) Eri :) And they talked forever and ate a lot, as usual, but I think the best part of the entry was Haiji-chan having tea with them X3 (I could have sworn she called it "Haiji-kun" before, but maybe that was just in readers' comments...)

So the story behind Haiji is she's the title character of the anime Fuel Efficient Girl Heidi (低燃費少女ハイジ), which I assume is a parody of the popular book Heidi (which has also been made into an anime or two). It was created by the same animation studio as The World of Golden Eggs (which Alice-chan loves), so I don't really question the nonsensical title. Everything about Golden Eggs is nonsensical ^^;;

(As a side note, at one of Alice-chan's farewell parties she called Mitsuki Haruka "Haiji" because I guess she played the character in some cast party skit. Maybe that's why I think of the doll as "Haiji-kun"...)

Anyway. Eri loved Haiji, and also loved the K-drama Alice-chan showed her (it was only a matter of time before she started infecting other people with her K-drama obsession XDD ♥) So much that she took the DVD home with her. Good job, Alice-chan X3

Much more exciting to me, however, is the new information I found on The Untouchables.

There still isn't an official website for it, which annoys me, but on the Theater 1010 page I found this.

Would you look at that! Alice-chan is billed third!! THIRD!!!!! In tandem with the other actress in the double-casting, but still!!

...That "other actress" turns out to be, um, the top musumeyaku of OSK. o_O;;;;

1) I did not know they lent out actresses, much less tops!!

Soooo much jealousy for OSK fandom right now x___x

The only unimpressive thing about this, really, is that nowhere on her page can I find a mention of this "outside" role. I'd have thought it would be newsworthy? Mostly I was just hoping she'd have more info.

Cue melodramatic weeping and wailing about the tragedy that is my life when I won't be able to go see this, etc, etc.

*deep breaths*

In today's news Alice-chan says she's kangeki-ing, which almost certainly means Kisha to Koutei. I'm eagerly awaiting the angel report :D ♥ ♥ ♥

Sakurako isn't really THE top musumeyaku -- she's one of the top musumeyaku. They don't really have a clear-cut system.

... I think they loan out their actresses because, frankly, otherwise they'd starve to death. :/

Aren't the blogs fun? they started them a year or two ago when they redesigned the web site♥

Oohhhh I seeeee. Well, that all makes a lot of sense :) I thought OSK had only one top star, but has that changed too?

Being in the wrong country is annoying.
Your post explains a bit about this photo from Eri-chan's blog:
but I think she's taking Haiji to a whole new level.

Bwahahaha. No, actually I think that's the big Haiji cushion Alice-chan bought here. I didn't realize it was quite THAT big though XDDD

Can I just say I adore your Alice-chan reports? Haiji sounds like a trip, and a cool companion for tea. Didn't know Alice is into Korean drama...kool. You'll get to visit Japan again one day and who knows it may even be in time for a bigger show with Alice in it :-). What's kangeki and shuugobi? I just saw the latter term thrown around the last few days and can't really understand the meaning from context.

Aha! We added shuugoubi here! Kangeki means seeing a theater performance. :)

Thank you, I just read it. I really appreciate all the work you've put into this project. All of it is very enlightening...and scary...but all fascinating.

I know I know! She's basically the lead female role! IT'S A LEAD ROLE FOR ALICE! IN HER FIRST GRADUATION PLAY!

*squees forever*

She is such a star. She's going to take Japan by storm.
