Hankyu knows how to play me
Instead of doing the "no transfers!" tantrum like I usually do... Teffy and I had a lot of forward-thinking discussion this morning, so here's what I've come up with.

* Mii-chan could potentially get that November Bow lead in Hanagumi. Awesome.

* Dai-chan isn't transferring soon enough, but Tomomin could get the August Bow in Yukigumi. Still cool, just not as cool.

* Masako will get to hang out with her buddy Chie, and Chie will probably start losing brain cells just by being around her XDDD

* Micchan will get to spread her awesome everywhere. Micchan decided to stay and I am very happy about that.

* Hacchi-san, Junko-san and Naga-san will also get to spread their awesome everywhere to my troupe someday, hopefully soon >:)

Some concerns:

* THEY'RE TAKING AWAY ALL OUR TALL PEOPLE. We still have Tomochin, sure, and Chii-chan and Kacha and Kai-chan, but it's hard for me not to see this as a conspiracy. :P

* On the other hand we get a new 88th, Maa-kun, who is tall. And... derpy. ^_^;; *pets her* Seriously guys, I don't know why she gets promoted either, but I am not going to dump on her.

* We get Kitarou, and she is tall and Kaname's friend and going to have her back all the time. I guess that's pretty cool.

* Well hello there RinKira, I have no idea what your transfer means for Riku and Ai-chan, but... okay?

* Kaga Ririka moving to Hanagumi encroaches on Mirion's rise a little bit... Meh, I just hope it doesn't mean Ran-chan is thinking of retiring already or something drastic like that. DX Serika Toa is going with Ririka for whatever reason.

* I have absolutely no idea what's happening with MiyaRuri and the future of Tsukigumi.

* I am not sure, but I desperately hope that this big announcement means there will be no transfers for potential new tops next year.

Here's the best part about Kira transferring on over to Soragumi.

She has the ability to make Kitarou burst into tears in front of audiences. I'm sure this will make her an invaluable tool to Soragumi for future tormenting.

I applaud you for putting up such a sane post regarding the transfers :) I thought my head would blow off when I first found out.

THEY'RE TAKING AWAY ALL OUR TALL PEOPLE.

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. I was actually hoping that it would mean Tomochin would be nibante to Teru but that was before I read the Maa-kun announcement . . . XD;;;

I totally LOLed at the Chie losing her brain cells bit XDDDDD Please, Masako, please never stop being you WHEREVER YOU GO.

Micchan will get to spread her awesome everywhere.

That's the best way to put it :D And it's very true!

This is the first time I noticed that Kirarou was going to Soragumi. I just watched Nijinsky a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed with her.
All these transfers are going to force me to pay more attention to the other troupes. That's probably what Hankyu wants.

Masako will get to hang out with her buddy Chie, and Chie will probably start losing brain cells just by being around her XDDD
That's probably true. LOL. Love that dork.

Guess I'll be the only one who feels down that Micchan is being transferred into Senka. I get what you're saying, but somehow this just doesn't feel right. Does Hankyu really think she's not good enough to be top star material? If this is her decision then I'd definitely support it, but I really just want to know/understand what the motivation behind this move is...

I should clarify that this is not intended as an insult or knock on any of the other sienne because they are all really talented. This is an ongoing question in my mind that's more directed at the company and their decisions/decision-making process.

I pretty much gave up hope after they transferred Tomu out and gave us Kaname instead of letting Micchan become nibante. If that isn't what the company wants, then I'm very grateful Micchan has decided to move to Senka instead of retiring.

Right? Hell if I understand what that logic was about. And with regards to Senka, isn't the selection process is a little bit different for this troupe? Like with all the transfers between the 5 main troupes, I figure the company makese these decisions without factoring the sienne much since most of them are always surprise when they find out about their transfers. Or at least they make it seem that way.

But for Senka, wouldn't a sienne have to consciously decide to take this step just because of the long-term effects of this decision on their prospect for marriage, family, career outside Zuka?

Kaga Ririka moving to Hanagumi encroaches on Mirion's rise a little bit... Meh, I just hope it doesn't mean Ran-chan is thinking of retiring already or something drastic like that. DX

I have a feeling that all of this might be preparations for Eritan and Mirion to transfer to Tsukigumi and become top there. That way, the hole in the musumeyaku hierarchy that Mirion leaves behind, if she is transferred out of Hanagumi, might be filled by Ririka. Like you, though, I really, really hope it's not an indication that Ranchan is going anywhere. /clings
